Biopolar disorder diagnosis is rising amoung our nation's children. It is often hard ot diagnosis and is often misdiagnosed since the effects of the disease on children is still being studied.

I am concerened with the number of children I have personally heard of being diagnosed with biopolar disorder. It reminds me of all of the children who were diagnosed with ADD/ADHD when it was first discovered. Are we labeling our children to explain their undesired behaviors for our own benefit and the benefit of society?

I wish Doctors knew about bipolar in children when I was little. It might have saved some of the struggle just to make it through the bad days.
